Furthermore I suggest for this two famous anniversaries separable two awards for working only cw and only for Clubs members which are EUCWA members. Lets move, lets form one for this action team and lets make anything great - 2011 and 2012 y are really near .............. CWFE CTC Chairman/CTC ECM Den - 9A3FO Only my little conception : If (Morse's birthyear and deathyear) rewards will be diplomas with Morse's illustrations I suggest that this illustrations are shown (under letters) across the whole surface of the support (paper) . The creator of this diploma (if has no better illustration of Morse's face od body) can take it from CTC web www.hamradio.hr/ctc Den - 9a3fo Comment by LZ1PJ: Thank you Den for the nice idea. Dear friends, we have enough time to think this idea over. There are many ways to implement it, Diploms are surely OK. Everyone will be proud to have one on his display wall. This could be supported by activity day(s), or week, or even a one-time contest. I will ask your support with possible projects. Please send me your comments and ideas. There is also the need of volunteer(s) to help organize these events, to design the diploms etc. I myself can arrange cheap and high quality printing, and dispatching. Any help will be appreciated. ***** 5.1 Application for membership - Marconiclub - Italy /TNX Alain F6ENO/ Dear Ivan, Vincent F5MJV, UFT chairman, received a request from Tony IK1QBT (Marconisti club chairman). They ask to become EUCW member. UFT supports this request. What do you think about ? http://www.ariloano.it/marconiclub/index.htm Best 73 Alain F6ENO Comment by LZ1PJ: Marconi club is a generic CW club having several hundred members. Having more than 100 members, the club qualifies for a full (voting) member. You can see all information on their website (see link above). According to EUCW constitution the application is considered approved, if there are no objections by any member club. Please send me your votes. Lack of vote from a member club will be considered a POSITIVE vote. ***** 6.1 EUCW Chairman service According EUCW constitution, the terms of service of the Chairman is 3 /three/ years. I took over this position in January 2007, from late Oscar, ON5ME. Having fulfilled 3 years service, I have to remind you, that every voting member has the right to nominate a candidate for new chairman. If there is more than one nomination, next chairman will be appointed by voting. If a member club is going to make nomination, please do it not later than 20th march, to be able to include it in next bulletin, and put it to voting. 6.2 EUCW website Der ECMs, please check your club's listing on EUCW website. I face all the time problems with bouncing email addresses, and broken website links. Send me updated info, where necessary. There are also some clubs with a club's forwarding email address, distributing messages to already non-existant recipients. Please update this too. All provided info will be forwarded to EUCW webmaster to make necessary updates. 6.3 Bulletin and reflector information Making this bulletin could be easy.....or hard. Writing an information bulletin, and not a love story novel, I have to include uptodate information about club activities, for the benefit of all of us. It is a very hard task without your support. Any relevant information will be appreciated, such as contest rules and results, award information, special activities etc. Sending a contest or event reminder to the EUCW reflector is also a great benefit. Let's do it. Long live CW. ***** 73, Ivan LZ1PJ /// END ///
