In these logs there are 78 different call signs from 17 countries. Of these 42 logs 37 have five or more received marks. Congratulations! The over all remark is that the hand pitch is improving. This raid will be a GACW Members and CW operators HF bands meeting to encourage the use of CW mode world wide. The Raid is not a competition nor a contest, it is just a 30 operations hours, in order to QSO everybody in CW Mode, make good DX, ragchewer or local QSOs, etc. There are not rules or exchanges, nor categories, take your CW time to send RST, Name, QTH, WX, Greetings, Antennas, Rigs, Family, etc., etc. There are no Logs to send, but please send Gabriel LU5FZ your pictures and remarks to be published in and special Radiofrecuencia Bulletin issue. Date: 18th and 19th of July 2009. Participants: World Wide Amateur Radios and GACW Members in particular. Time: FM 1800 UTC Saturday 18th TO 2400 UTC Sunday 19th. Operation time: 30 hours. Objetive: To make bilateral DX and/or local QSO in CW Mode, ragchewers are welcome. Bands: 160 to 2 Meters. Date and duration: 1200 UTC 11th April 2009 to 1200 UTC 12th April 2009 2). Entry categories a). Country Coast Station. Each participating maritime nation will be able to run stations representing their former main coast station E.g. GKA, PCH, DAN etc. The number of radio-station is open for each country. b). Single operator former Radio Officer c). Multiple operator former Radio Officers only. d). Single radio amateur. e). Multiple operators. . 3). Bands: 160m, 80m, 40m, 20m, 15m & 10m 4). Mode: CW 5). Power: 100w except for Country Coast Stations. 6). Exchange. a). Radio Officers exchange QSA plus callsign of last ship/aircraft (if only operated at a coast station then the callsign of the coast station followed by the last letter of own callsign). Categories B and C must only use one ship call sign. b). Multipliers apply once only regardless of band worked. Accuracy is important and 2 points will be deducted for inaccurate ships call signs being logged, Failure to observe and log silence periods will result in a deduction of 50 points and if persistently noted may lead to disqualification. ( Check logs and referees will be monitoring the bands). 9).Awards.: A certificate will be awarded to the operator(s) of the stations . Entries and logs and examples of logs All entries must be accompanied by the entry form which can be found on the web site at www.radiomaritimeday.org. *** 2.1 Special event station Z30MCWG /TNX Z35M/ Z30MCWG the special callsing of the Macedonian Telegraphic Group – MCWG is planed to be active from 20. feb – 31. dec 2009. The operators are the members of the group from Macedonia. The activity will be mostly on CW on all HF bands. Macedonian Telegraphic Group, MCWG was formed in January 1994 by the group of Macedonian enthusiastic-telegraphers in order to spread and to develop the top radiotelegraphic operation in Macedonia. Since 1994 MCWG is member of European CW Association, EUCW. Operators from abroad can become honorable members of the group if they fullfill these conditions: 1. To apply recommendations from two members of the group, one of them must to be from Macedonia, after having two QSOs each lasting 30 minutes and speed from 150 letters per minute on Paris base. 2. To apply writen application for the membership with the two recommendations, 3 IRCs and a statement that they haven't using key board, decoder or computer during the testing QSOs. 3. Members of VHSC, SHSC and EHSC are necessary to have recommendation of only one member of the group, who has to be from Macedonia. It is randomly activated by different operators and will be active till the end of september. Operation will be emphasized during the championship, 11-15 september. QSL via LZ1PJ.
